Wuxi city, in Jiangsu province held the fifth Around Taihu International Road Cycling in 2014. It was co-organized by Chinese Cycling Association, provincial governments of Jiangsu and Zhejiang, municipal governments of Shanghai, Wuxi, Changzhou, Suzhou, Nantong and Huzhou.
The race level was UCI2.1 and invited around 200 cyclists from 22 international teams. CCTV sports channel had telecasted two of the games.
