Wuxi Mayor Wang Quan met with Shanghai Electric's CEO Zheng Jianhua on August 12 to discuss the company's manufacturing projects in Wuxi.
Both sides had already agreed at the beginning of the year to develop hand in hand.
Shanghai Electric plans to settle its manufacturing projects for engines, turbines, 3D printing and thin-film solar batteries in Wuxi due to the city's location, preferential policies and resources. These projects all conform with the development direction of Wuxi's manufacturing industry.
