'Made in Wuxi' applied to more products

Some 80 Jiefang heavy-duty trucks from Changchun, Jilin province recently arrived at the Wuxi Diesel Engine Works of the FAW Jiefang Automotive Co, Jiangsu, for car hopper installation, according to wxrb.com.

Last month, the factory received an order from Deppon Logistics Co for 190 van vehicles and one from Yuan Cheng Logistics Co for a further 92 van vehicles.

The FAW Jiefang Automotive Co, Wuxi Diesel Engine Works, established in 1943, is an enterprise wholly owned by the China FAW Group.

The enterprise, with an area of 800,000 square meters and 3,300 workers, annually produces up to 600,000 diesel engines and refits up to 15,000 vehicles.
