The Bank of Ningbo opened a new sub-branch Wuxi on July 8, at Taihu Xincheng, the seventh the bank has opened in the city. The Taihu Xincheng area in Wuxi is seeking to develop its financial industry as well as become a national demonstration zone for ecological living.
The addition of the Bank of Ningbo sub-branch only serves to strengthen the area's position and bolster its aspirations of becoming a center and headquarters hub for financial institutions. Currently, 140 finance companies have settled in the area, including 14 municipal level banks with assets exceeding 700 billion yuan ($104.65 billion).
A representative from the Bank of Ningbo said that it will continue to promote its brand culture and make full use of its strengths to better meet customer demands and facilitate the city's economical construction.
