Wuxi People's Hospital has just received a prestigious payback for its year-round effort as it has won the highest patient's satisfaction rate among 139 first-rate hospitals in Jiangsu province.
It is the second consecutive year that the hospital has led in patient satisfaction in the province, receiving the highest 98.06 percent on this year's list which was released by the Jiangsu Provincial Commission of Health and Family Planning on Dec 25.
Wuxi People's Hospital has been striving to improve both its medical treatment level and medical services this year. Innovative services have been rolled out to greatly facilitate patients, including free lockers for luggage storage, an umbrella lending service and a public reading area.
By the end of November, the hospital received 140 letters of thanks and 96 awarded silk banners from its patients. More than 1,300 medical staff have been praised by the government.
