"Many of the young staff are only children but, instead of complaining about the difficulty of the work, they tend to be patient and keep up their enthusiasm."
The busiest time of year has arrived, but for Jiang Feifan it doesn't signal a time to leave work at the station and return home – in fact, Jiang hasn't returned to her hometown in almost three years. Yet Jiang is an optimist capable of finding great reward in the work carried out on a daily basis.
"Every time I help a lost child or an elderly passenger to find his or her way home, I feel pride for fulfilling my duty. I just want to help everyone to return home safely."
