This year's festival is much more ambitious still. More than 10,000 people are expected to attend the event in Lingshan, a national 5A-level scenic area, where they will stretch and meditate in the shadow of one of the world's biggest Buddha statues.
Five top yoga gurus from India will also be invited to teach yoga courses in Wuxi during the period.
