Since July 12, Wuxi has experienced soaring temperatures, which is certainly sending these ice plant workers into overdrive with the booming demand caused by a need to keep fruit and vegetables fresh in local markets. The water take 15 hours to harden and each block weighs 50 kilograms with the workers operating on two shifts so as to ensure market demands are met.
