"I feel fortunate doing my last performance with the overseas singers, who have unmatched singing skills. No matter where we come from, we share the same love for music," said Wang Zhaoxiyun, a member of the Wuxi choir. [Photo/wxrb.com]

The children's choirs of the Romania State Opera and the Wuxi Children's Palace gave a joint show at the Wuxi Opera on August 2.

After singing several songs separately, teenage singers from the two countries sang the Half Moon Rise together, winning them prolonged applause.

"It can be seen that the Romanian teenage singers are well trained. They immerse themselves in their songs, showing real passion," said Yang Qiuming, the director of the Wuxi Children's Choir. "The local singers also enthrall audiences. The Romanian agent has invited us to tour Europe again."
