Jiangsu province has prioritized the development of Yixing, a county-level city in Wuxi. It is livable city with rich biodiversity and eight national 4A scenic spots.
Yixing is well known for its pottery, which has a history of more than 7,000 years. Its purple clay style of ceramics is unique and attracts many tourists. The city was listed as a "national famous historical and cultural city" in January 2011.
