A dazzling laser show is also staged every day above Xixuetang Lake near the light festival entrance, illuminating the night sky above the garden.
Once you've feasted your eyes on the gorgeous lights, you can also enjoy some of the activities running on the sidelines of the show.
An international clown troupe of more than 20 world-famous performers will delight guests with their incredible acrobatic performances. The troupe has members from all over the world and has won the coveted "Gold Clown" prize given out at the International Circus Festival of Monte Carlo.
The light festival is open from 6 pm to 10 pm every evening and will run until Oct 15. Tickets can be purchased at the entrance to the park. Tickets are 60 yuan ($9) for adults and 30 yuan for children and the elderly.
