With a gentle spring breeze, the weather on the morning of March 24 could not have been better. Despite having previously participated in one full marathon and six half marathons, Hannah was still impressed by the race track used for the Wuxi marathon: "The lake was so beautiful…this is actually probably the nicest half marathon route that I've ever been on." Hannah ran 21km in a time of 02:17:47. She told me her time was never her concern, she just wanted to enjoy the experience.
"Okay Hannah, let me see if we can help", was how it all started. Then on the evening of March 24, she sent a message saying that she had a brilliant time in Wuxi. It was the perfect ending to the story.
