The city of Sihanoukville, Cambodia, has established a sister city relationship with Wuxi since July 29, 2009.
It’s a city with convenient traffic, directly connected with Phnom Penh, the capital of Cambodia, by railways. Being the only harbor city in Cambodia, Sihanoukville has the largest international deep-water harbor - Sihanoukville harbor, and an international airport - Sihanoukville Airport.
It’s an emerging industrial city, mainly focusing on international freight, fishery and tourism, and owns massive refineries and the largest deer enterprise in Cambodia. At present, it attaches much importance to the clothing industry, and over 20 enterprises have settled in Sihanoukville.
