The city of Gimhae, South Korea, has been a sister city of Wuxi since March 8, 2008.
Located in southeastern Korea, Gimhae is one of the cities with the fastest development and the largestdevelopment potential in Gyeongsangnamdo. As the capital of Geumgwan Gaya, Gimhae is a historical and cultural city inheriting Gaya culture.
"Gaya World Cultural Festival" has been held every year since 2005, in order to makeeGaya culture listed by UNESCO as a World Cultural Heritage.
