Chinese e-commerce giant JD announced the opening of its city service plan for small and medium-sized enterprises on July 16. The plan's first service center opened in Wuxi, East China's Jiangsu province at the same time, providing one-stop services for office product procurement and product promotion.
Wuxi, with its GDP having reached 1.14 trillion yuan ($170.2 billion) last year, ranking 14th nationwide, has a per-capita GDP of 174,300 yuan, the second-highest in China. The city has been promoting the economic development of the Yangtze River Delta region and the construction of transportation infrastructure, which would provide opportunities for small and medium-sized enterprises to develop.

The Wuxi branch of JD's service center is located in China Sensor Network International Innovation Park, Wuxi National Hi-tech District. Covering an area of 1,200 mu, the park is home to over 1,000 registered enterprises and is known as an accelerator for startups.
JD plans to gradually establish such service centers across the country starting later this year. They will provide small and medium-sized enterprises with solutions and products that meet their needs. Exclusive discounts and services are available to help startups. JD will also develop new sales accounts and sales channels for the products made by these enterprises.
