Wuxi Art Gallery
Wuxi Art Gallery used to be known as the Wuxi Painting and Calligraphy Academy. It was established in 1979 and moved to No 79 Xianqian West Road in 2004. Wuxi Art Gallery organizes art exhibitions, conducts academic research, collects art works, and hosts aesthetic education events, aiming to promote cultural and artistic exchange and offer relevant services.
It is open to the public for free and offers guides for group visitors.

Chen Chi Art Museum
Chen Chi (1912-2005), a talented watercolor artist, was born in 1912 in Wuxi. Unlike other watercolor painters, Chen adds elements of Chinese calligraphy, poems, and seals to his works.
Chen was the first overseas Chinese artist living in the United States to hold a solo exhibition in his homeland, shortly after the establishment of Sino-US diplomatic relations in early 1979.
In 1990, Chen established a "Chen Chi Art Foundation" and "Chen Chi Scholarship" for students in his home city of Wuxi, where a Chen Chi Art Museum was built to house 84 works donated by Chen in 2004.
