A delegation from China Aerospace Science and Industry Corporation visited Wuxi in eastern Jiangsu province on Sept 18, aiming to deepen cooperation between each other.
Wuxi Party Secretary Li Xiaomin and other top officials welcomed the delegation led by Liu Shiquan, general manager of China Aerospace Science and Industry Corporation.
China Aerospace Science and Industry Corporation plays an important role in China's space industry and defense technology industry.
The corporation has invested in and built four enterprises in Wuxi, including the Jiangsu Aerospace Daway Technology Co which is lending its full support to the construction of a smart city and rail transit system in Wuxi.
During the meeting, Li Xiaomin expressed his gratitude to the company for its long-time support for Wuxi's city construction. Li hoped both sides could deepen their cooperation on smart transportation to build a technology center, engineering center and key labs.
In addition, the two sides could have more industrial cooperation in the internet of things, the industrial internet, integrated circuits, big data, artificial intelligence and intelligent manufacturing, Li said.
Liu Shiquan said he was impressed by the quality and efficient support provided to companies by the Wuxi government.
He added that his group planned to expand its investment in the city, as they are bullish about Wuxi's economic and technological development.
