For 10 consecutive sessions, Wuxi has hosted the first stage of the event, and has become known at home and abroad for its beautiful natural scenery. The two sprint points during the Binhu Circuit this year are Linghu Road (Lingshan Grand Buddha) and Shili Mingzhu Levee –– famous attractions near Taihu Lake.

When asked about the course, Jones makes no secret of his affection for it, saying that it's a fast-paced course with nice scenery.
Dylan Kennett from St George Continental Cycling Team (STG), who has participated in the Tour of Taihu Lake three times, considers it a fun event: “It's a big race, my teammates all love it, and we look forward to taking part every year. Congratulations on 10 years!”
Kennet has already won one orange jersey and two green jerseys during the prologue and Stage 1, and is confident about the forthcoming competitions. His goal is to try and at least keep the orange one, which represents the highest honor for an individual rider.
