After ten years of vigorous development in the Wuxi Xinwu district, the China Internet of Things Innovation Park's widespread recognition has been well-earned.
It is now the first national park that specializes in intelligent sensors, incubates the internet of things, and experiments with cultivating regional brands.
By refining the incubation chain for technological-based enterprises and providing both extensive and intensive service support, the park has achieved satisfactory results in its endeavor to develop a comprehensive industrial chain. So far, it has accumulated more than 500 taxable enterprises, which have reached a total output value of 6.5 billion yuan ($943 million), with 125 patents obtained per thousand people.
The year 2019 marks a decade since Wuxi was tasked by the State Council in 2009 to construct China's national sensor network innovation demonstration zone, to support the development of the digital economy.
