Alexey Volin, Russia's deputy minister of digital development, telecommunications and mass media, toured Wuxi in East China's Jiangsu province on Nov 14 to get a further understanding of the Chinese city's digital industry and the development of its Internet of Things industry.
Volin led a delegation from Russia to Wuxi to attend the third China-Russia Internet Media Forum, held on Nov 14-16 in the city. The forum is the main part of the third China-Russia Internet Media Forum and New Media Exchange Activities on the 70th Anniversary of the Establishment of China-Russia Diplomatic Relations.
The Wuxi (National) Digital Film Industrial Park in Binhu district was Volin's first stop, where he toured the Republic of China Style Street, recording studios and photo studios.
Volin showed great interest in Wuxi's digital video production technologies and expected more cooperation in the field with China.
The Russian official's next stop was Hongshan IoT Town. At the town's exhibition center, glasses-free 3D technology, intelligent transportation, smart home and smart tourism displays attracted his attention.
