Wuxi residents enjoyed a culture boom at the 9th China (Wuxi) International Cultural and Art Industries Fair that kicked off on Dec 5 and lasted for five days.
The exhibition, covering an area of more than 50,000 square meters, displayed all kinds of cultural and artistic works from nearly 1,000 enterprises across 23 Chinese provinces and 24 countries and regions.
A total of 12 themed exhibitions showcased jewelry and jade carvings, ceramics, calligraphy and painting arts, tea and flower arts, cultural and tourism products and overseas art works.

Local performances and specialties make the Wuxi pavilion stand out, including dance drama The Embroidery Girl, erhu performances, local snacks and original ancient books from Wuxi Library.
The fair, aiming to promote the development of local culture and tourism, is free for visitors to enjoy all kinds of culture and art in Wuxi.
