Wuxi in East China's Jiangsu province has rolled out a series of measures to contain the spread of pneumonia caused by the novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV).
Lately, in an effort to provide abundant services for local residents in Wuxi during the extended holiday, several cultural venues and scenic spots have launched a number of online services through their digital platforms.
Although the offline services of Wuxi Library has been suspended, its digital library is still attracting more than 3,000 visitors per day.
There are 50 to 100 journals launched online every day, which can meet the needs of readers of different age groups with different reading preferences, said a staff member from the library.
Wuxi Art Museum also started several "online exhibitions" during the closing hours, which has fulfilled the wishes of painting enthusiasts eager to visit exhibitions online from their home.
Wuxi Museum provides its virtual exhibition hall and introductions of its rich cultural relics collection, which can also be viewed at any time in PC and mobile terminals.
Additionally, virtual scenic spots enable cyber visitors to browse beautiful digital renderings of the scenery with vivid and detailed images.
