In order to prevent against the spread of the novel coronavirus and ensure stable economic growth, enterprises in the Wuxi National Hi-tech District (WND) have been gradually resuming operations, according to the local government.
WND is home to about 24,000 enterprises and over 370,000 workers from outside the city. The district is making use of the internet, big data, and cloud computing to improve government services and reduce the burden on enterprises during the outbreak.
By Feb 16, 708 industrial enterprises (88.9 percent of the total) above designated size had reopened in WND.
