Proceeding from the requirements of epidemic control in different places, inbound foreigners from severely epidemic-stricken countries and areas shall adopt such epidemic control measures as body temperature measurement and home-based or centralized medical quarantine. These measures comply with Chinese laws and regulations, which can not only meet epidemic control requirements, but also effectively curb cross-border epidemic spread, benefiting epidemic control works both in China and in the world at large.
Are epidemic control measures taken by foreigners the same as those by Chinese citizens?

Both foreigners and Chinese citizens are treated as equal in the application of epidemic control measures. We will fully take care of their reasonable needs and have respect for their religious beliefs and customs. After entering China, community administration shall provide necessary assistance to help solve their difficulties in daily life.
How can inbound foreigners submit health declarations?

All entry-exit personnel shall submit a health declaration, which will be reviewed by customs of the ports to check if the people have been to epidemic-stricken countries or areas in the previous 14 days or have had close contact with confirmed cases. Health declaration forms are available in more than 10 languages and can be filled in through a specially developed app on mobile phones before the travelers arrive at the port. The app will generate a QR code for inspection at the port after online application.
