Every year for just over a week, the city of Wuxi in East China's Jiangsu province becomes a hive of activity as it turns into one of the country's best spots to see cherry blossoms.
At night, the blossoms give off an ethereal glow at the city's Yuantouzhu (Turtle Head Isle) scenic spot.
Yuantouzhu opened three nights, from March 23 to 25, for people to enjoy the beautiful views of cherry blossoms due to the COVID-19 prevention and control effort.
The ticket price is 90 yuan ($12.73) to enjoy a night tour from 4:30 pm to 9 pm. Visitors should book tickets online using their real names through the official WeChat account of Yuantouzhu scenic spot: wxytz96889688. Chinese medical workers can visit for free with proper documentation.
To ensure safety, the number of visitors will be limited. All people need to wear masks during their visits, and are required to have their temperatures taken at the entrance. Those found to have an abnormal body temperature will receive further checks and disinfection.
