With spring now in full swing in Wuxi, many people are visiting tourist destinations that feature blooming flowers.
Blooming peonies, wisteria, rhododendron, cherries, and tulips are all competing for the spotlight, with their reds, pinks, whites, and purples glowing under the sapphire sky and warm sun.
Yuantouzhu Scenic Area is known as one of the top three cherry blossom parks in the world. However, there also four other recommended destinations in the city for flower lovers.

Huishan Ancient Town
Huishan Ancient Town is popular among visitors in spring as it is home to many blooming flowers, including cherry blossoms, peonies, wisteria, and rhododendrons – Wuxi's city flower.
The opening ceremony for the annual cultural tourism festival in Huishan Ancient Town was held online on April 1 in light of the coronavirus outbreak. The festival is due to last until May 10.
Over 50,000 pots and 600 varieties of rhododendrons are on display in the town, making it the best place in Wuxi to admire flowers.
In April, over 340 pots and 30 varieties of peony are also being displayed in the scenic area, which are showy to cast the other flowers into the shade.
Moreover, a unique variety of cherry tree, the grandiflora, is now blooming there. Unlike most cherry blossoms, which are typically pink or white, this extremely rare species is light green and yellow.
