The Wuxi Grand Theater in East China's Jiangsu province reopened Saturday after being closed for 128 days due to the outbreak of novel coronavirus, with more than 300 people invited to attend the event.
Four major performances involving pop music, classical music, folk music and drama brought people back to the time before the outbreak when the theater was open for their enjoyment.

The Sky Stage welcomed its first group of performers who received praise from the audience on opening day. The multifunctional hall also showcased its new appearance with help of the elevating stage, digital projection and a starry wall.
The conductor of a classical orchestra said that they have made full preparations for coming performances and can't wait to see audiences in person at the theater.
