The 2020 World Internet of Things Exposition (WIOT) will be held in Wuxi, East China's Jiangsu province, from August to October.
This year's event, which will focus on internet of things (IoT) and 5G technologies, will feature various summits, online and offline exhibitions and competitions related to IoT innovation.
All activities will be held both online and offline in light of the ongoing COVID-19 epidemic. Thousands of enterprises from home and abroad will be featured in an online exhibition that displays the latest IoT technologies and applications.
The launch event -- the Internet of Things and 5G Integration Innovation Development Conference -- will be held on Aug 7.
As a national sensor network demonstration zone, Wuxi has hosted the annual WIOT since 2016. The city's thriving IoT industry has accelerated its industrial development, which has in turn boosted its strategic emerging and high-tech industries.
