Due to the global spread of COVID-19, Jiangsu Provincial Public Security Department has published the latest measures for Jiangsu-bound travelers who have entered China via airports in Shanghai. Passengers will be transferred for quarantine and health observation in a "7+7" mode, starting from midnight on Aug 2.
Jiangsu-bound travelers entering China via airports in Shanghai will be transported by dedicated vehicles to designated hotels for quarantine and health observation by Shanghai city.
Sampling and nucleic acid testing will be carried out by Shanghai on the fifth day of quarantine. Those tested negative shall register relevant information on the ticket system set by Jiangsu province at the quarantine hotels, and shall save the electronic ticket for the transfer vehicles from Shanghai to Kunshan, and Kunshan to Wuxi (districts and counties).
Those tested negative, with an e-ticket from Shanghai to Kunshan, will be transferred to Kunshan Transfer Base by dedicated staff and vehicles of Jiangsu province in a seamless and hermetic manner when their seven-day quarantine period is over.
After arriving at Kunshan Transfer Base, travelers, with an e-ticket from Kunshan to Wuxi (districts and counties), will be transferred to Shuofang Airport Transfer Base by dedicated staff and vehicles of Wuxi in a seamless and hermetic manner.
After arriving at Shuangfang Airport Transfer Base, travelers, under the guidance of on-site staff, will be transported to designated hotels for quarantine and health observation by dedicated staff and vehicles of relevant districts and counties.
After arriving at the designated hotels in districts and counties of Wuxi, travelers will be put under quarantine and health observation for another seven days.

What are your obligations in epidemic prevention and control?
According to the Law on the Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases, all entities and individuals within the territory of the People's Republic of China must accept the surveying, testing, sampling, isolation and treatment of infectious diseases by disease prevention and control institutions and medical institutions, etc., and provide relevant information truthfully.
When an infected person or a patient suspected of an infectious disease is identified, it shall be promptly reported to the nearest disease prevention and control institution or medical institution.
According to the emergency response law, citizens of the place where the emergency occurs should follow the commands and arrangements of the people's governments at all levels, cooperate with the emergency response measures adopted by the people's governments at all levels, actively participate in emergency response, and help maintain social order.
