A 300-drone light show will be staged tonight in Nianhuawan scenic area, Wuxi, in celebration of the Qixi Festival, the Chinese equivalent of Valentine's Day.
Qixi is a traditional Chinese festival which celebrates the legend of the annual meeting between the mythological figures of the Cowherd (or Niulang 牛郎) and the Weaver Girl (or Zhinyu 织女) on the seventh day of the seventh lunar month.
Their story of love, separation and nostalgia will be performed in the night sky of "Smile Square", with an 18-meter-high moveable sculpture standing at its center. Visitors can watch at 7:30 pm and 8:30 pm tonight.
