A total of 31 deals worth over 23 billion yuan were signed in Wuxi's Liangxi district on Aug 25, as the government looks to upgrade the industrial structure in the city center.
Thirteen business and trade projects will be carried out in the district. Wuxi Enduo Sushi Catering Management Co, built in Liangxi district in 2016, will build an industrial park in Shanbei sub-district which will include two hectares of office space and manufacturing facilities and offer industrial workshop tours.
Ksyun, a cloud computing subsidiary of Kingsoft, will build its Chinese industrial internet of things (IoT) headquarters in Liangxi, focusing on smart city construction based on artificial intelligence, IoT and block chain.
The Chinese Athletics Association will lead the construction of an intelligent healthy sports park in Guangyi sub-district. The sports park will apply many modern technologies to promote sports training and the development of sports industry.
Gao Shan, director of the industry development department of the Chinese Athletics Association, said the smart runway inside will be equipped with chips to connect with sports watches and bracelets worn by runners.
Officials from Liangxi district said the projects, which focus on industrial parks, modern services, cultural tourism, e-commerce logistics, education experience and big data, are expected to create a number of new industrial clusters for commercial trading, modern services and intelligent manufacturing.
