Wuxi will build 113 new schools from 2020 to 2022, according to a three-year education plan recently released by the municipal office.
A total investment of 15.5 billion yuan ($2.32 billion) will be used to build 56 kindergartens, 25 primary schools, 18 junior high schools, seven nine-year education schools, and seven senior high schools, the plan said.
According to the municipal education bureau, the plan is intended to address increasing enrollment and help promote quality education throughout the city.
