The annual China (Wuxi) International Culture and Art Industries Fair opened at Wuxi Taihu International Expo Center Oct 15 and will last for five days.
This year's fair was downsized in light of the COVID-19 epidemic, but the latest technologies and fine works there are still worth visiting.
Themed on "new cultural tourism, new consumption, new life", the fair includes exhibitions in 10 themed areas and over 20 special activities, featuring art works, craft, local food, jewelry, carving, mahogany furniture, tea and cultural innovation products.
Craftsmen were invited to show their unique skills, including bronze carving master Zhu Bingren, Jingdezhen porcelain master Xu Jiangyun and Jiang Xinliang, master of ceramic arts and crafts in Jiangxi province.

Wuxi Museum has organized various events for people to visit cultural heritages and buy related cultural products. Wuxi Art Gallery is hosting an exhibition of prints at the fair, showing a wonderful combination of drawing and craftwork. Wuxi Library uses the latest technologies to reveal the charm of modern libraries.
The local food exhibition area is popular among visitors, with time-honored restaurants such as Wang Xing Ji, Lao Gaojian, Fangzhuang Mutton participating.
"We take part in the fair every year, which not only broadens our horizons, but also attracts customers," said one of the exhibitors.
During opening day, local officials visited the fair and urged all cultural revenues to promote their services and optimize the supply of cultural service products.
