Businesses from Wuxi have signed various deals at the second Huangshan Development Conference in Huangshan, East China's Anhui province on Nov 7, with the aim of promoting the integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta.
A total of 125 projects worth over 71 billion yuan ($10.7 billion) were signed at the conference. Of the signatories, 64 enterprises came from the Yangtze River Delta region.
Envision Group will expand its business in tourism with a deal inked with Huangshan to build the Yuetan Lake Tourist Resort. The resort will be built based on the advantageous natural resources of Huangshan and be developed into an international tourist resort with the themes of ecology, health and leisure.
Wuxi Suhai Investment Co will spend 200 million yuan building a central kitchen at the Huangshan Railway Station and an organic food certification center.
The company delivers meals and food to schools and enterprises in Wuxi, as well as serving airlines and railways.
Wang Xiang, chairman of Wuxi Suhai Investment Co, said that they are optimistic for the transportation development of Huangshan, which would better serve the integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta and benefit their businesses.
Wang added that the company will also cooperate with schools and enterprises in Huangshan by the end of this year.
