Blooming wintersweet flowers at the Wuxi Plum Garden in Binhu district attracted many visitors.
There are more than 50 varieties and over 3,000 wintersweet trees in the garden, making it the largest wintersweet garden in East China. The blossoms will last until mid-February.
Under the city's COVID-19 prevention and control measures, tourism attractions and indoor entertainment venues, including theaters, cybercafés, and cinemas, were allowed to admit visitors at no more than 75 percent of their maximum capacity over the holiday.
Visitors were also encouraged to make reservations in advance whenever possible in order to better control population flows over the holiday.
