A total of 180 employees of Wuxi Murata Electronics received COVID-19 vaccinations on a special bus at its company on March 24.
Wuxi National Hi-tech District reconfigured a 12-meter-long bus to create the special bus, aiming to provide free COVID-19 vaccine shots to local residents and workers more conveniently.
The bus is equipped with three seats for vaccinations, a large refrigerator to store the vaccines, and ultraviolet disinfection equipment. A smart cold-chain turnover box for storing vaccines is also put on the workbench, which can keep the vaccines stored at a temperature ranging from 2 to 8 degrees Celsius and show its real-time temperature outside.

Wuxi started offering free COVID-19 vaccine shots to local residents as part of the country's vaccination campaign against the virus recently.
Wang Xuwen from the Wuxi disease control and prevention center said that Wuxi offers COVID-19 vaccines at 112 vaccination sites. Some special vaccination buses and temporary vaccination sites will also be provided to residents in need.
