A total of 30 tourist attractions in Wuxi will provide special discounts for citizens from May 19 to 25 to mark China Tourism Day, which falls on May 19 every year.
All four 5A-level tourist attractions in Wuxi are offering significant deals. The Wuxi TV production base, including the Town of the Three Kingdoms and the Town of the Water Margin, will reduce ticket prices by half to 75 yuan ($11.70).
For other tourist attractions, Lingshan Mountain scenic area, Turtle Head Isle scenic area, and Huishan Ancient Town will be offering 50 percent discounts, making the prices 105 yuan, 45 yuan, and 35 yuan respectively. Nianhuawan scenic area will offer a discount price of 60 yuan for each visitor. Visitors will be able to visit Helyu Relics Museum for free, while Wuxi Zoo is promoting preferential sets of tickets, including an 80 yuan ticket that will include access to see the circus.
Huaxi village will offer visitors a special 50-percent discount on its set of tickets, dropping their price to 65 yuan on May 19. The price will go up to 100 yuan for each visitor from May 20 to 25.
Wuxi citizens can enjoy preferential treatment when presenting their identification card, residence permit or student identity card at ticket offices.
