The award ceremony for the winners of the 2020 Wuxi Mayor Quality Award was held on June 23.
Wuxi Boton Technology Co, Jiangsu Eazytec Co, and Jiangyin Haida Rubber and Plastic Co were this year's winners.
A total of 32 local enterprises competed for the award this year, 23.1 percent more than last year. Among them, 14 are involved in strategic emerging industries such as integrated circuits, biomedicine, and high-end equipment manufacturing.
A director of Wuxi Port Machinery Co said that the award will help the company earn more trust in the domestic market. The company has become more aware of the importance of quality when it comes to industry competition and expanding into global markets.
During the process of applying for the awards, many local enterprises have also learned advanced management concepts and processes and developed unique and effective management methods.
During the ceremony, the local market regulation administration signed a deal with the Key Laboratory of Quality Infrastructure Efficacy Research and the Quality Brand Research Institute of Jiangnan University to promote the high-quality development of Wuxi.
According to the deal, the three sides will cooperate to formulate standards for emerging and modern service industries, research and test the quality and reliability of key manufacturing products, and improve the quality of development in the Yangtze River Delta.
Established in 2006, the Wuxi Mayor Quality Award are the highest honor given by the Wuxi Municipal People's Government to leading enterprises and organizations with advanced management techniques.
