A themed exhibition presented by Wuxi's local archives and history hall in celebration of the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China is expected to open to the public in July.
The Path to Glory -- History of Wuxi of the Communist Party of China exhibition is made up of four parts, with over 400 photos, as well as 100 historic objects and models. It is designed to remind visitors of the great impact that the CPC has had in shaping China's modern history and Wuxi's social development.
It reflects the history of when the Wuxi CPC organization was established, as well as details the efforts that local residents made in carrying out the country's socialist revolution and constructing the People's Republic of China. It also explores the efforts made in implementing reform and opening up in Wuxi, as well as the city's modern high-quality development over recent decades.
The exhibits include a bronze plaque saying "top village in the country" for Huaxi village. Located in the county-level city of Jiangyin, Huaxi village is a calling card of Wuxi's, known for its success in opening up and realizing common prosperity.
Various "made in Wuxi" products, such as a Little Swan-brand washing machine, a Hongmei-brand television, and a Yingyan-brand air conditioner, reflect the manufacturing prowess of the city.
Visitors will be able to learn details on Wuxi's CPC history at the exhibition.
