Accounting firm PricewaterhouseCoopers opened a new branch in the Wuxi National Hi-tech District in East China's Jiangsu province on July 5.
Located in the central area of the Yangtze River Delta region, Wuxi has performed well in the integration of its industrial chains, innovation chains, and supply chains, said Thomas Leung, the market leader at PwC China.
Leung added that the company was lured by the business activity in Wuxi and WND. The new branch is expected to offer better and more professional services to clients in Wuxi and cities in the Yangtze River Delta region.

In March, PWC released an assessment report on the investment environment of WND.
The report pointed out that an efficient, convenient, and open investment environment with fair competition is an important manifestation of WND's soft power. It will promote the high-quality development of the regional economy and help the district develop into a modern, high-quality, and livable new city.
PwC plans to continue offering comprehensive investment promotion services to the district, including white papers on investment, project matchmaking, and investment promotion activities.
As one of the world's four biggest accounting firms, PwC provides assurance, advisory, and tax services to companies and governments all over the world. It serves clients in 155 countries and regions, including a number of Fortune 500 companies.
