The 2021 World Internet of Things Exposition, China's top IoT event, will be held in Wuxi, East China's Jiangsu province from Sept 3 to 6, organizers announced at a news conference on July 15.
Featuring the latest IoT applications and products, the event this year will include a main summit, an exhibition on IoT applications and products, an award ceremony, 10 sub-forums and 16 related activities.
The main summit will be held on Sept 4, with national and provincial officials, executives of well-known enterprises, academicians and experts in attendance. They will share ideas on hot issues in the fields of intelligent manufacturing and digitalization and discuss the development plan of the IoT.
The exhibition of IoT applications and products will run from Sept 3 to 6 at the Wuxi Taihu International Expo Center. The 50,000-square-meter exhibition will showcase the latest IoT-related technologies and applications one main hall and seven other exhibition zones. There will be an online version of the exhibition as well.
An award ceremony for outstanding new technologies, products and applications related to IoT will be held.
In addition, 10 sub-forums focused on areas such as smart manufacturing, industrial internet, IoT information security, big data, 5G, artificial intelligence, smart cities, intelligent transportation, and the internet of vehicles, will be hosted during the expo.
The 16 related activities will include an advanced computing industry development conference, an artificial intelligence and smart technology innovation development forum, a health IoT forum, a smart sports and digital entertainment industrial summit, and a digital transformation of manufacturing industry forum.
