Nearly 30 new schools in Wuxi will start operation in the new autumn term starting in September. They are all equipped with a variety of smart equipment and boast a safe study environment.
Among them, 15 new schools are kindergartens, which provide more school choices for parents with young children.
The new campus of Wuxi Tongjiang Experimental Primary School covers an area of nearly 30,000 square meters. The school has adopted a facial recognition system at the gate to bolster security and enable parents to access students' attendance information easily, according to the principal Zhao Guofang.

The Lihu Primary School of the Binhu Experimental School of Nanjing Normal University has applied many technologies in its special classrooms. Each desk in the calligraphy classroom is embedded with a screen, allowing students to copy models of calligraphy freely and better learn from teachers' writing skills.
The Lihu Primary School also provides folding beds for students, which look like common lockers inside classrooms. The length of these beds for the lower, middle, and upper grades is 1.6 meters, 1.8 meters, as well as 1.9 meters respectively to match students' growth.
