The Wuxi human resources and social security bureau released 14 measures on Sept 6 to optimize the city's business environment by bolstering policies related to the city's talent attraction, recruitment, and training efforts.
The city will extend its talent attraction channels, continue to make innovations to its graduate recruitment model, increase the recruitment of various talents through online and offline channels, as well as improve job matching accuracy and talent recruitment effectiveness.
It will also propose targeted solutions to key industries to address the recruitment and retention of talents in need.
In terms of promoting the evaluation of skilled talents, the city will give full play to the main role of enterprises and the supporting role of social training evaluation institutions. It will also fully implement the new model of vocational skill level identification.
The city will also promote vocational skills training. More than 180,000 people are expected to receive such training with allowance by the end of this year.
Wuxi will also provide social security services to people in other provinces. Workers in Wuxi can also apply for a social security card with self-service machines and choose to receive the card through express delivery.
