A total of 29 enterprises from Wuxi took part in the 2021 China International Fair for Trade in Services in Beijing in both online and offline venues from Sept 2 to 7.
During the event, Wuxi-based enterprises looked for business opportunities created by the development of trade in services from all over the world. Wuxi and various bases jointly initiated the establishment of a joint mechanism for national cultural export bases to promote the high-quality development of international cultural trade.
In the Jiangsu province exhibition area, Base FX (Wuxi), a visual effects company located in Wuxi Studios, showcased new digital technologies in the film and television industry, such as virtual studio shooting and special effects production, through videos. Their skillful shooting and post-digital production technologies in films attracted many visitors.
As part of the first batch of national cultural export bases, Wuxi has formed a cultural trade development pattern in the fields of film and television production, network cultural communication, animation games, characteristic cultural products, as well as cultural tourism.
With a theme of "Towards Digital Future and Service-driven Development," the 2021 CIFTIS featured a new section for digital services, with 33 well-known enterprises and institutions participating in this special section.
This year's event attracted more than 12,000 enterprises, up 52 percent from 2020. Representatives from 153 countries and regions signed up for this year's event compared to 148 last year.
