Wuxi Yoshioka Precision Engineering Co debuted on the Beijing Stock Exchange on Nov 24.
It is the first Wuxi-based company to be listed on the newly-established exchange, which is a platform serving innovation-oriented small and medium-sized enterprises. The first 81 firms consist of top performers in their respective sectors, boasting sound business operations and great growth potential.
The exchange uses a registration-based initial public offering system in line with the Nasdaq-style sci-tech innovation board, or STAR market, of the Shanghai Stock Exchange, and the tech-heavy ChiNext market on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange.

Established in 2002 in the Wuxi Xishan Economic Technological Development Zone, Yoshioka is a high-tech company engaged in the research, development and production of aluminum alloy and zinc alloy precision parts.
The company's products include electrical and auto parts mainly used for cleaning electrical appliances, power tools, communication equipment, body structures, vehicle host systems, power systems and braking systems.
Although it is a small and medium-sized enterprise, Yoshioka has a greater right to speak in the market. The company is a first-tier supplier in the BorgWarner supply chain system. Its exclusive patented "steam heater" technology is a core component of popular steam mops. The company also provides motor structures for Tesla's Model 3 and Model Y.
The company was listed on the "New Three Board", China's share transfer system for small and medium-sized companies, on Nov 4, 2016.
