Ice and snow sports, consumption, and tourism have picked up in popularity among Wuxi consumers due to the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympic Games, which began on Feb 4.
The Winter Games events that tend to draw the greatest public interest include short track speed skating, speed skating, freestyle skiing, snowboarding and curling, experts said.
A number of local venues for ice and snow sports have become increasingly popular, especially among children. Many like to participate in activities such as skating, ice hockey and snowboarding.
