The fourth Belt and Road Initiative Short Video Competition kicked off in Wuxi, East China's Jiangsu province, on March 24 as part of the 2022 Wuxi International Month event, local media reported.
The competition will include four sub-divisions in Central Asia, Africa, Latin America, and Cambodia and local residents, especially teenagers, are encouraged to participate in it.
Participants are required to submit videos about people-to-people exchanges between countries involved in the Belt and Road Initiative and showcase China's cooperation and cultural exchanges with BRI countries.
The competition this year is sponsored by China Public Diplomacy Association, the News Center of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of State Council, Huanqiu.com, and the Cyberspace Administration of CPC Jiangsu Provincial Committee.
The previous three editions of the video competition had received more than 1,000 entries from over 100 countries.
