A volunteer team consisting of international students at Wuxi University in Wuxi, East China's Jiangsu province, has been assisting the university in fighting Covid-19 amid the latest outbreak in the city.
The team includes seven members from Rwanda, Bangladesh, Liberia, Uzbekistan, and Cote d'Ivoire, who are offering anti-pandemic guidance and translations into five languages to their schoolmates.

To ensure epidemic-related information can be accurately delivered to their international schoolmates, they received training before starting their work.
They are also helping medical workers register information on the university's international students during nucleic acid tests and checking the test results for them.

Video conferences have also been held at regular intervals so that they can share their experiences and problems they have encountered in order to better serve their schoolmates.
Roy Apu is one of the international volunteers. He said that he feels lucky to be studying in China compared with other countries, as the measures taken by the country are more strict and effective.
