Wuxi in East China's Jiangsu province experienced a bustling Dragon Boat Festival holiday ending on June 5.
Over the three-day holiday, all 56 key businesses in the city registered 248 million yuan ($37.19 million) in total sales revenue, a year-on-year increase of 5 percent.

Liangxi district arranged for local residents to tour its most famous scenic spots – Xiaolou Lane, Donglin Academy, Xiju Opera Museum and Nanchang Street – and enjoy traditional Wuxi delicacies in celebration of the traditional festival.

Xiaolou Lane alone saw a 30 percent year-on-year increase in its number of tourists and a nearly 20 percent year-on-year increase in sales revenue over the holiday.
A total of 131,000 people left Wuxi from June 2 to 5, including 84,000 people by rail and 18,000 by air.
