The Cambodia Pavilion, a Silk Road e-commerce cooperation program between China and Cambodia, opened on JD Super, the online supermarket arm of JD, according to a launch ceremony held in Wuxi, Jiangsu province on June 24.
Cashew nuts and other products from Cambodia are available on the online pavilion, which is expected to offer more Cambodia-grown produce, including dried mango, biscuits, and essential oil.
Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister Hor Namhong said in his congratulatory letter that the Silk Road e-commerce program offers opportunities to small and medium-sized enterprises in Cambodia to export their agricultural products to China.
He also expressed hope that China and Cambodia will further their trade and investment relations to face the challenges brought about by COVID-19.

Fei Gaoyun, executive vice-governor of Jiangsu, noted that Cambodia is an important partner of Jiangsu in the Belt and Road Initiative.
As both the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership trade pact and Cambodia-China Free Trade Agreement have taken effect this year, Jiangsu will take the opportunity to advance cooperation with Cambodia on trade and investment, scientific and technological innovation, and the digital economy, added Fei.

Zhao Jianjun, mayor of Wuxi, said that Wuxi has played an active role in BRI and strengthened its cooperation with Cambodia in recent years.
He promised that Wuxi authorities will offer a favorable business environment and efficient services for the Silk Road e-commerce cooperation program.
